This online festival offers performers the chance to showcase their talents, receive feedback from industry professionals, and compete for prestigious Australian titles and prizes.

Entry Steps:
Step 1 – ENTER: Nominate your entries online by midnight, Saturday 5 October 2024.
Step 2 – UPLOAD: Upload your material by Saturday, 12 October 2024 via the instructions provided.
Step 3 – WATCH: Watch performances and view video adjudication from a range of industry professionals from Sunday, 20 October 2024.
Performance Categories:
DANCE (Solo and Duo):
Solo Contemporary:Â Abstract or experimental facets in dance elements (3 minutes)
Solo Demi-Character:Â Characterisation using mime and ballet technique (3 minutes)
Solo Classical Ballet:Â Ballet technique, may include pointe work for ages 13+ (3 minutes)
Solo Lyrical:Â Expressive style combining ballet and jazz techniques (3 minutes)
Solo Jazz:Â Includes modern hip hop steps, shows jazz technique (3 minutes)
Solo Tap:Â Traditional or modern styles, must be performed in tap shoes (3 minutes)
Solo Musical Theatre:Â Live singing and dance, showing character development (4 minutes)
Solo Song and Dance:Â Equal singing and dancing, any style (4 minutes)
Duo/Trio Classic Styles:Â Contemporary, Ballet, Lyrical (3 minutes)
Duo/Trio Theatrical:Â Jazz, Tap, Song and Dance (4 minutes)
Championship:Â Enter at least 3 sections in ONE discipline to be eligible. No separate piece required.
DRAMA (Solos and Duos):
Character Piece:Â Extract from a play or monologue, any era (5 minutes)
Solo Drama:Â Contrasting piece if entered in Character Piece, any era (5 minutes)
Verse:Â Any style excluding humorous (3 minutes)
Prose:Â Extract from any fiction/non-fiction, optional memorised or read (4 minutes)
Humorous Verse:Â Satirical verse (3 minutes)
Mime:Â Narrative scene using facial expression and gesture (3 minutes)
Write and Read:Â Own short story, poem, or monologue, reading section (4 minutes)
Duologue:Â Duo character extract from a play or monologue (6 minutes)
Duo Poem:Â Any style of poem performed as a duo (5 minutes)
Duo Mime:Â Narrative scene using facial expression and gesture with a partner (5 minutes)
Championship:Â Enter at least 3 sections in ONE discipline to be eligible. No separate piece required.
VOCAL (Solos and Duos):
Classical:Â Art music rooted in Western traditions (5 minutes)
Musical Theatre:Â Song from a musical, Classical or Contemporary (5 minutes)
Popular Song:Â Contemporary, jazz, country, and pop (5 minutes)
Song from an Animated Movie:Â Any song from any animated movie (5 minutes)
Sacred/Hymn:Â Reverent or religious song (5 minutes)
Duo Song:Â Any style of song with two performers (5 minutes)
Championship:Â Enter at least 3 sections in ONE discipline to be eligible. No separate piece required.
GROUP:
Any group of 3 or more people (any ages) performing in any genre including dance, drama, and mixed media.
Time Limit:Â 10 Minutes
Entry Fees:Â $59 for a single entry with discounts for multiple entries. Full Group fees are listed on the entry form. Discounts apply for multiple entries.
