28 June 2025

Season: June 28th - 30th, 2025

Title: Magic Beach – Live in Brisbane

Presented By: CDP Kids

Genre: Children’s Theatre / Literary Adaptation

Synopsis: At our beach, at our magic beach…Every year, a family visits their beloved beach holiday spot. But this isn’t just any beach—it’s Magic Beach, where castles rise, monsters fly, and anything you imagine becomes real. This year, however, something has changed. As the eldest child begins to grow up, will she leave the magic behind?

Based on Alison Lester AM’s cherished picture book and adapted by award-winning playwright Finegan Kruckemeyer, Magic Beach comes to life with vibrant text, song, movement, light and shadow. From the team behind The Gruffalo and The Treehouse series stage adaptations, this beautiful production celebrates imagination, growing up, and what makes every child unique.
