Synopsis: Truffaldino, a hungry and cunning servant, decides to double his wages (and his dinners) by secretly serving two masters at once. Naturally, chaos ensues. But this isn’t just any farce. One master is a woman disguised as her dead brother, searching for her lover… who killed her brother. That lover? He’s the other master. Meanwhile, there’s a mistaken engagement, a surprise betrothal, and a whole lot of running around.This high-energy classic by Carlo Goldoni, adapted by Australian greats Nick Enright and Ron Blair, is packed with wild disguises, tangled love stories, slapstick hilarity, and timeless theatrical mischief. What could possibly go wrong?
