DRAMATIC THEATRE: Ode to Women - The Curators Artists Studio

21 Feb 2025

Season: February 21st - March 15th, 2025

Title: POST DRAMATIC ‘TROY’ DISORDER – ‘ODE TO WOMEN’

Presented By: The Curators Artists Studio

Genre: Theatre / Drama

Synopsis: Set in the aftermath of Troy, this thought-provoking play takes inspiration from Euripides’ Women of Troy, the first-ever peace play. The story unfolds in “the Bright Inside,” where flowers bloom next to war, laughter emerges amidst chaos, and hope flickers in the corner of Pandora’s box. The play addresses the trauma of intergenerational suffering—Post Dramatic Troy Disorder—passed down from the first wars. As the world grapples with the question of whether peace is possible, the characters confront the legacies of war and trauma. A powerful reflection on human nature and the possibility of creating peace, despite a history of suffering.
