Synopsis: BATS Theatre Company presents a captivating winter season featuring a trio of one-act plays exploring the themes of greed, power, and confusion with humour and heart.

  • House Hunter (Drama) by Jacqui Mata LuquePeggy, recently widowed, is comforted by a woman who claims to have known her late husband Albert for years. But as grief clouds judgement, the visits grow stranger, revealing secrets behind the kindness.

  • The Greatest Speech in the History of Humankind (Comedy) by Bruce OliveSet in 2050, the President of the world faces the ultimate challenge: delivering the greatest speech ever to save humanity — without an autocue or a speech in sight. Chaos and comedy ensue!

  • Elizabeth the Third (Comedy) by Ian AustinA wealthy, long-lost aunt calls for the first time, and three different Elizabeths turn up, each hoping to secure their share of the inheritance. Hilarity and mistaken identities guarantee a fun-filled confusion.
