Synopsis: Golden sands, turquoise waters, and a lush golf course – Wallis Heads is a coastal paradise, and Penny Poulter is living the dream. But when brash and moneyed developer Alex Whittle discovers the town, her peaceful world is turned upside down. As Whittle charges forward with his plans to transform Wallis Heads into a bustling tourist hotspot, the townsfolk are forced to choose sides. Can power, privilege, and unchecked ambition be stopped by one determined local?

A sharp, witty, and topical comedy from Australia’s most iconic playwright, The Great Divide takes aim at wealth, development, and the power of community.
