Workshop Information:Theatre Residency Week (TRW) is an intensive theatre camp for students in Years 9-12, offering a unique opportunity to develop acting skills through workshops, masterclasses, and performances. Running since the company’s inception 54 years ago, it is the longest-running theatre program of its kind in Australia. Participants will work with Core Group Artists to create a live performance for family and friends on the final day. The program includes a comprehensive social and cultural schedule supervised by experienced Queensland Theatre staff.

Activities: Daily theatre workshops, masterclasses, forum discussions, and incursions/excursions.
Supervision: Participants are grouped into Core Groups and House Parent Groups for supervision and pastoral care.
Inclusions: Tuition, accommodation, all meals, theatre tickets, and social/cultural programs.
Scholarships: Available for students who are Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander, live regionally, experience financial hardship, or display artistic excellence. Additional scholarship for the winner of the Young Playwrights Award.
