About: Take a deep dive into the world of Shakespearean performance with this three-day course, led by the Queensland Shakespeare Ensemble. Participants will explore techniques used in QSE productions, focusing on clarity, energy, and the psychological depth of Shakespeare’s text. Each participant will be assigned a scene to learn in advance and will work with a scene partner to bring Shakespeare’s characters and ideas to life on stage. Expect a transformative experience that bridges timeless Shakespearean themes with contemporary political and philosophical ideas.
