Synopsis: Step into a soft and cosy woodland straight out of a picture book. What’s In The Woods? invites babies and toddlers to discover the wonders of nature through an engaging and interactive theatrical experience. Gather around the campfire for a gentle story before exploring the woodland through sensory play, puppetry, and performance. Created specifically for young audiences aged 0–3, this immersive experience is designed to nurture curiosity, imagination, and a child’s first encounter with theatre.

  • 1 - 2 yrs | 11AM

  • 2 - 3 yrs | 10AM

Ticket Costs:

  • Adult + 1 Infant (0–3) - $15

  • Additional Adult - $7.50

  • Additional Child - $7.50

  • Observer theatre seating (selected sessions) - $5

Warnings: Designed as a quiet, gentle sensory environment for infants and toddlers. While older siblings may attend, the experience is specifically created for babies and very young children.

Recommended Age: 0–3 years

Duration: Approximately 45 minutes (about 25 minutes performance and 20 minutes interactive play).

  • Sessions are developmentally tailored for different age groups (0–1, 1–2, 2–3).The space includes baby-safe seating, pram parking, baby changing facilities, and breakout areas.

  • The venue is wheelchair accessible and designed to accommodate prams and mobility aids.

  • Developed as part of the Backbone Theatre for Babies program in collaboration with Brymore Productions.
