Synopsis: From Darkness into Light traces a musical journey through grief, hope and renewal. Gabriel Fauré’s Requiem in D minor offers a vision of peace and gentle consolation, while Elaine Hagenberg’s Illuminare continues the journey toward light, unity and joy. The program also features Fauré’s Cantique de Jean Racine, performed by The Queensland Choir’s Choral Scholars, creating an evening of reflective and uplifting choral music within the beautiful acoustic of St Stephen’s Cathedral.
