Synopsis: Thank God You’re Queer is a high-energy, improvised comedy show that puts a fabulous queer spin on a classic improv format. Brisbane’s leading LGBTQIA+ performers create scenes inspired by real-life queer experiences shared by the audience—while each scene features a guest improviser who is (usually) straight and navigating queer storytelling for the first time. The result is chaotic, heartfelt, and hilariously unpredictable, celebrating queer culture while playfully challenging heteronormativity.
