Synopsis: Echo, the Australasian Dance Collective Youth Ensemble’s signature season, is a bold and deeply personal exploration of identity, individuality, and synergy. Through two compelling new stage works by Queensland choreographers Kate Harman and Courtney Scheu, young artists aged 15–19 confront personal and collective themes with vulnerability, courage, and honesty.

This year’s program also features a beautiful series of student-made short films from AUSTI. Dance & Physical Theatre, created under the mentorship of renowned dance filmmaker Claire Marshall. Echo is a celebration of emerging voices in contemporary dance, offering a powerful and heartfelt experience that places the next generation of creatives firmly in the spotlight.
