Synopsis: Cooloola Stories is an immersive exhibition that explores the layered narratives of the Cooloola region—where land, water, culture, and memory intersect. Created by young artists, the exhibition centres on connection: to Country, to community, and to the stories that shape identity across generations. Through visual art, sound, and storytelling, Cooloola Stories brings forward voices deeply rooted in place, highlighting both enduring traditions and contemporary perspectives.

The exhibition is presented at The Old Ambulance Station Gallery in Nambour, a multi-arts facility that hosts exhibitions, theatre, live music, and community arts programs.
The Old Ambulance Station acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the region, the Kabi Kabi and Jinibara peoples, and honours the rich cultural contributions that First Nations artists bring to the Sunshine Coast.
