INSTALLATION: Cloud Bank - Backbone Festival

8 Oct 2026

Season: October 8th - 10th, 2026

Title: Cloud Bank: Draft 1

Presented By: Backbone Festival 2026

Genre: Immersive lighting installation/sound art/work-in-progress

Synopsis: Cloud Bank imagines a lightning storm contained inside a room and a bespoke performance space for new visual works created for young audiences. It is envisioned as a place of sanctuary, wonder and dreams—evoking the experience of listening to rain on a tin roof as thunder rolls across the sky. However, Cloud Bank: Draft 1 is not yet the completed venue. This work-in-progress listening party shares the material, technology and central concept behind the lighting installation that will underpin future works created within the Bank.
