Synopsis: Meet Bud and Doug—two wildly enthusiastic aspiring playwrights with a dream of making it to Broadway.

Armed with nothing more than boundless optimism, a piano and an endless collection of labelled baseball caps, the pair present a backers' audition for their ambitious new musical about Johannes Gutenberg, the inventor of the printing press. As they perform every role themselves, Bud and Doug bring to life a hilariously overblown historical epic in the hope that one producer in the audience will make all their theatrical dreams come true.

Written by Anthony King and Scott Brown, Gutenberg! The Musical! is a fast-paced, laugh-out-loud spoof of Broadway musicals, packed with infectious songs, outrageous characters and theatrical chaos.
