Synopsis: In the rough-and-tumble town of Deadwood, swaggering sharpshooter Calamity Jane is admired and mocked in equal measure. Although deadly with both a whip and a quick remark, her bravado conceals a longing for something deeper. Naomi Price leads this stripped-back, piano-driven reimagining of the classic musical, which combines frontier grit, comedy, romance and familiar songs including “Secret Love” and “The Black Hills of Dakota.”
