Synopsis: A quirky Brisbane community choir is accidentally invited to compete in Sydney’s prestigious National Choral Competition. Initial excitement soon gives way to rivalries, secrets and personal dilemmas. Matters become even more unusual when the flamboyant “Spirit of the Song”—a magical figure visible to only one unlikely choir member—arrives with the power to reveal everyone’s deepest fears and truths. Featuring original music, humour and heart, the musical explores unity, love and self-discovery as the misfit singers attempt to find harmony both onstage and off.

Inspired by real people and stories from the Cheep Trill community, the musical returns for its second season with new staging and a new song.
