Synopsis: Franz Schubert’s final song cycle - Winterreise - sets Wilhelm Müller’s poems as an emotional landscape from loneliness to courage. The wanderer says farewell to his lover and steps out into the night, traversing symbolic roadside scenes that stir memories and hope. British tenor Allan Clayton and Australian pianist Kate Golla perform this haunting journey of voice and piano, framed by evocative visuals inspired by the art of Fred Williams, directed by Lindy Hume.
