Synopsis: Alma Latina! explores the vibrant soul of Latin music through a recital of beloved classics and contemporary favourites. Colombian tenor Carlos Bárcenas brings the passion, rhythm and emotional intensity of Latin America to the stage, accompanied by acclaimed pianist John Woods. The program celebrates Bárcenas’ South American heritage and includes works such as the iconic tango Por una cabeza and the bolero Perfidia, a song of betrayal and heartbreak by Mexican composer Alberto Domínguez.
