Synopsis: A brand-new pantomime adaptation of the beloved fairy tale by Nathan French.

Briar Rose, the long-lost princess of a faraway kingdom, leaves the safety of her hidden home and embarks on a journey towards the truth of who she really is. But as she draws closer to discovering her destiny, an ancient curse begins to awaken, threatening to stop her future before it has the chance to unfold.

Filled with laughter, music, colourful characters and magical moments, Sleeping Beauty is a fun-filled family pantomime celebrating courage, friendship and the triumph of good over evil.

This family-friendly production continues the theatre's long tradition of presenting entertaining pantomimes for audiences of all ages during the school holiday season.

• Spotlight Theatre is presenting Relaxed Performances on Friday 3 July at 10:30am and 2:00pm, adapted to create a more comfortable and inclusive theatre experience for patrons with sensory sensitivities. These performances feature:

  • No flashing lights

  • No loud sound effects

  • A more relaxed and welcoming audience environment
