Synopsis: Four women from very different backgrounds arrive at a Queensland health retreat and find themselves sharing a cabin for one week. As personalities clash, secrets emerge and attempts at relaxation go increasingly off-course, the retreat becomes anything but serene. Inspired by playwright Georgie Wallace’s own experience at a Queensland health retreat and embellished with imagination, A Week in Serenity blends dramatic twists with comic outcomes in a story about unlikely companionship, personal discovery and what happens when strangers are forced into close quarters.
