THEATRE: Bin Night - PIP Theatre

10 Dec 2025

Season: December 10th - 13th, 2025

Title: Bin Night

Presented By: Lottie Nella & PIP Theatre

Genre: Theatre / Gothic Comedy

Synopsis: Bin Night is an Australian Gothic comedy set in the rural town of Widdletik, where every Tuesday isn’t just wheelie bins out on the curb, it’s confession time. At the town’s only pub, Canetoad’s Corner, locals once gathered to scribble their darkest secrets onto scraps of paper and toss them into the red-lid confession bin out back. No names. No judgment. By dawn, the sins were set alight, burning away alongside the cane fields. It’s now been sixteen years since the last Bin Night, after an… unfortunate incident shut it all down. Now, under new management, the Jones family are determined to revive the tradition through a game of Trivia! Come on down and have a cold beer, indulge in town gossip and give a crack at Trivia Night for a chance to win a meat tray from Beardless Betty’s Butchery. But there's a reason that Bin Night ended and there are things that'll make sure it stays that way…
