Synopsis: Set inside the delightfully unconventional St. Serenity's Mental Institution, Bittersweet Madness! follows Dr. Finch, a psychiatrist convinced that theatre is the ultimate cure for madness. To celebrate the institution's 50th anniversary, he casts the residents in a production of Romeo and Juliet, believing that if they can master the stage, they can master their minds.

As rehearsals descend into delightful chaos, eccentric personalities, questionable therapy methods and Shakespeare collide in a theatrical comedy that explores humanity, healing and the fine line between madness and brilliance.
