Synopsis: Set in 1942 against the backdrop of World War II, Brisbane follows 14-year-old Danny Fisher in a country town shaken by war, loss and cultural tension. After his pilot brother is killed in the bombing of Darwin, Danny struggles with grief, schoolyard challenges, and a burgeoning friendship with an American pilot - leading him into a bold plan that blurs the line between heroism and danger.
