Synopsis: Judy is determined to live as the “perfect” 1950s housewife — complete with immaculate dresses, spotless domestic routines and unwavering devotion to her husband. But beneath the polished surface, the cracks are beginning to show.

Laura Wade’s Olivier Award-winning comedy explores the tension between nostalgia and reality, asking what happens when an idealised version of domestic life collides with modern expectations, financial pressure and personal identity. Witty, sharp and increasingly uncomfortable, Home, I’m Darling asks how far someone might go in pursuit of the “perfect” life.
