Synopsis: Set in 1953, Moon Over Buffalo follows George and Charlotte Hay, two fading stage actors performing repertory theatre in Buffalo, New York. Their already chaotic lives spiral further out of control when they learn that Hollywood director Frank Capra may attend their matinee performance—offering a potential ticket to fame.

As personal betrayals, mistaken identities, drunken mishaps, and backstage disasters collide, the couple must attempt to hold their acting company together long enough to secure their big break. The result is a fast-paced farce full of physical comedy, confusion, and theatrical chaos.
