Synopsis: Queen Bette is a one-woman show that retraces the remarkable life of Bette Davis, one of the most iconic and gifted film actors of the 20th Century. The performance takes the audience through Davis's journey from a fledgling stage actress to a Hollywood legend. It explores her infamous battles against the Studios in her pursuit of artistic independence, her fascination with Queen Elizabeth I, and her reputation as the most formidable woman in Hollywood. Jeanette Cronin, known for her roles in Holding the Man, The Boys, Parramatta Girls, and Dark Voyager, reprises the role she was born to play in this intimate cabaret-style show.
