Synopsis: In this stage adaptation by Stephen Briggs of one of Terry Pratchett’s best-selling Discworld novels, Commander Vimes is sent to the icy, Transylvania-like realm of Uberwald on a diplomatic mission to build trade relations with the Dwarf King. However, things quickly go awry as he becomes entangled in an escalating inter-species conflict. Accompanied by an eclectic group of allies—including a talking dog, a reformed vampyre, and a self-made man stitched together from various parts—Vimes must navigate political intrigue, survive in the frigid woods, and outwit a pack of fascist werewolves while clad only in the gloomy trousers of Uncle Vanya.
