Synopsis: Appleton is a small, quintessential Australian country town where tradition meets change. Long-time resident Barb embraces new ideas, but her friend Bev clings to the old ways. When Penny returns to her childhood home, she discovers a glaring inequality at the Appleton Show's famous potato race: the winning man’s prize is $1,000, while the winning woman’s prize is a mere $200. Determined to level the playing field, Penny takes action, proving that sometimes, breaking the glass ceiling requires a potato sack and a lot of grit.
