But Mavis is no grieving widow—she's a cunning fortune hunter already plotting to inherit Edgar's estate. As bodies appear and disappear, suspicions mount and the eccentric residents of the Hollister country house become entangled in an outrageous web of mistaken identities, disappearing corpses and hilarious misunderstandings. Packed with witty dialogue, unexpected twists and tongue-in-cheek suspense, The Murder Room affectionately celebrates—and gleefully parodies—the classic British whodunit.
