Synopsis: Brisbane hosts the international premiere of The Only Thing Worse You Could Have Told Me, the acclaimed LGBTQIA+ play by Dan Butler (Frasier).

Performed by Matilda Award-winning actor CJ de Mooi, this powerful solo work brings eleven distinct characters to life, exploring the complexities of gay identity, relationships, community and self-discovery. Set in the United States during the 1990s, the play is insightful, poignant, humorous and deeply relevant to contemporary audiences.

  • BackDock Arts is an independent arts venue in Fortitude Valley dedicated to supporting emerging and independent artists across theatre, music, comedy and contemporary performance.
