Title: Torch The Place
Presented By: Queensland Theatre Company
Genre: Theatre / Comedy / Contemporary Drama
Synopsis: It’s Mum’s 60th birthday, and her children have brought cake, presents - and a skip bin. In this razor-sharp comedy by Queensland-born writer Benjamin Law, the family attempts to help their mother confront decades of hoarded possessions and rusted-on emotions. Told with wit and heart, Torch The Place balances humour with a deeply emotional exploration of trauma, identity, and the things we hold onto - literally.
