Synopsis: Trent Dalton’s Love Stories is a heartfelt exploration of the myriad forms of love. Inspired by bestselling author and journalist Trent Dalton’s unique project of gathering love stories from strangers on the streets of Brisbane, this stage adaptation dives into the complexities of relationships, connection, and the human condition. Adapted by Tim McGarry with additional writing by Dalton and Fiona Franzmann, and directed by Sam Strong, this production blends storytelling, movement, and multimedia to bring to life the deeply personal and universal stories collected by Dalton. Audiences will be taken on a journey through joy, sorrow, passion, and reflection, as the play unravels the tender and powerful emotions that define our lives.
