8 Oct 2026
Season: October 8th - 10th, 2026
Title: Bring a Very Big Net
Presented By: Loose Tooth, as part of Backbone Festival 2026
Genre: Australian comedy
Synopsis: Four strangers embark on an expedition through an Australian national park to capture the legendary Yowie—or at least that is why Leah, president of the Yowie Hunting Society, is there. Julian is tracking the hike on Strava, Alice is embracing her “whimsy-maxxing” era and Charlie is the council-mandated park guide who would rather be anywhere else. As the unlikely group stumbles through the bush, they must confront storms, spiders and their own considerable stupidity. The production promises laughter, hope and more Yowie sweat than anyone requested.
