Synopsis: Two acclaimed short plays by Caryl Churchill are presented as an intimate double bill. In What If If Only, a grieving person encounters possible Futures offering alternative paths through loss. In Escaped Alone, four older women share an ordinary afternoon in a backyard while their conversations give way to private fears and startling visions of catastrophe. Together, the plays explore friendship, grief, ageing, anxiety and an uncertain future.
