Synopsis:

Discover the next generation of Queensland's theatre-makers as TAFE Queensland's emerging actors take to the stage for Studio Showings, a week-long celebration of creativity, storytelling and performance. Presented as part of TAFE Queensland's 2026 Acting and Performance Season, this series of showcases offers audiences a glimpse into the work of students developing their craft through professional performing arts training. The program begins with showcases from first, second and third-year acting students, featuring scenes, monologues and performance work developed throughout their studies. Each presentation gives students an opportunity to explore character, dramatic technique and the art of connecting with a live audience. The season then turns to Drama Projects, showcasing creative works developed by students through their practical training. These performances provide a platform for experimentation, collaboration and original theatrical expression.
