Synopsis: Come From Away is a Canadian musical with book, music, and lyrics by Irene Sankoff and David Hein. It tells the true story of 7,000 airline passengers from around the world who were diverted to the small town of Gander, Newfoundland, in the wake of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. As the world grappled with tragedy, the people of Gander opened their hearts and homes to the stranded travelers, forging bonds that would last a lifetime.
