Synopsis: Elements Theatre Co. presents Grease as part of its 2026/27 Senior Production Program. Grease follows the students of Rydell High as they navigate friendship, romance, reputation and growing up in 1950s America. After a summer romance, Sandy and Danny unexpectedly reunite at school, only to discover that fitting in can be more complicated than falling in love.

Audition Date: Registrations close Monday 13 July 2026. Auditions will be held during the first weeks of Term 3, 2026.

Audition Requirements:

• Auditions will be used to determine lead roles, featured roles, vocal solos and special performance opportunities.

• All registered participants will be cast in the production.

• Once registered and either paid in full or on an approved payment plan, participants will receive an audition pack with character information and preparation resources.

Warnings: Grease contains themes, language and content reflective of its 1950s setting, including some mature references. Parent/guardian discretion is advised for younger performers.

Performer Age: Ages 13+ to Adult. Participants must turn 13 before 19 March 2027.

Other information:

• Registrations close Monday 13 July 2026, unless capacity is reached earlier.

• Every registered participant will be cast.

• Attendance is required for weekly rehearsals, January Intensive, Tech Week and all performances.

• Program fee: $1,260 upfront or $40 per week over 35 weeks, plus transaction fees.

• Fees include script, cast shirt, costume hire, weekly rehearsals, January Intensive, Tech Week, performance season, cast celebration and full educational musical theatre program.

• Complimentary Grease Kids Club available during rehearsals for cast members who are parents.
