Title: A Night With The Villains

Presented By: Mira Ball Productions

Genre: Immersive Cabaret


Synopsis: A Night With The Villains is a bold, immersive parody concert featuring improvised and interactive theatre set to musical theatre and pop hits. The production invites performers to step into the shadows as larger-than-life villains who command the room, break the rules, and compete for the audience’s favour. This character-driven show celebrates collaboration, comedy, audience interaction, and wickedly entertaining performance choices.

Audition Requirements:

Submit:

  • Headshot

  • Performance CV

  • List of potential scheduling clashes

  • 1–2 minute performance of a villainous song or special skill (comedy/circus)

  • Monologue, maximum 2 minutes, as a villain of choice

Callbacks will involve a song, improvised cold reads, and a dance call.

Performance Dates: 29 October – 1 November 2026

Performance Location: Ron Hurley Theatre, Seven Hills

Rehearsal Dates: Commencing Sunday 2 August 2026, Tech/Dress Rehearsals: 26–28 October 2026

Rehearsal Times: Sundays only, 9:00am – 3:00pm

Performer Age: 18+

  • Profit-share remuneration model

  • Applicants from all genres, backgrounds, and abilities are encouraged to apply

  • Successful applicants notified for callbacks by 3 June 2026

  • In-person callbacks: Saturday 6 June 2026

  • Audition outcomes announced by 13 June 2026

  • Photoshoot: 18–19 July 2026


Available Roles/Character Breakdown: Seeking performers to create and perform villain characters. Roles will suit strong vocalists, confident character performers, comedic actors, improvisers, dancers, and/or specialty performers.
