Title: All I Want for Christmas

Presented By: Lind Theatre

Synopsis: On Christmas Eve, a desperate father walks into a gift and toy store searching for his daughter and takes the remaining customers hostage. With police involvement, family tensions, unexpected helpers and plenty of chaos, All I Want for Christmas is a festive comedy about strangers caught together in a crisis.

Available Roles/Character Breakdown:

  • Dusty Peters (30–40) Sales clerk in his mother’s gift/toy store.

  • Bran Haste (20–30) Single ladies’ man working at the store in a Santa outfit until his acting career takes off.

  • Maggie Grant (20–30) Attractive but intimidating licensed vet technician with horrible taste in men.

  • Howard Concord (35–40s) Mailman whose wife has left him and taken their ten-year-old daughter.

  • Linda Applebee (35+) Self-absorbed socialite who looks younger than her age. Requires a good singing voice.

  • Alvin Applebee (10 years old) Linda’s son. Spoiled, smart-alecky and loves robots and trains.

  • Wilma Peters (60+) Dusty’s mother and owner of the gift store. Frugal.

  • Doug O’Brien (40+) Police Chief who would rather be spending a quiet Christmas Eve at home.

  • Alex Camerun (Male or Female, 25+) Young, eager detective keen to impress the Chief during a crisis.

  • Jessica Concord (9–10 years old) Howard’s daughter. Loves model trains and her father. Minor role.

  • Voice Roles: Radio DJ and Alice Concord, Howard’s soon-to-be ex-wife.
