Synopsis: Set in rural New South Wales during the mid-1990s, Dog on a Tucker Box follows 17-year-old Mikey Windsor, a teenager who feels out of place in the small town of Gundagai. After a bizarre encounter with a genuine UFO, a mysterious new student named Amelia arrives at school. Convinced the events are connected, Mikey forms an unlikely friendship with Amelia as the pair challenge each other to grow and change. Combining realism with absurdism, the play tells a touching story about friendship, identity, and change.
