AUDITION NOTICE: General Auditions - Queensland Theatre and La Boite Theatre

Title: General Auditions 2025 | Expression of Interest

About: General Auditions provide an opportunity for actors to meet with key members of Queensland Theatre and La Boite's artistic teams. This is not for specific roles in upcoming productions but an open audition process to see as many actors as possible. Please note that not all expressions of interest are guaranteed an audition, given time limitations. If you have auditioned or worked with us in the last two years, there is no need to re-audition as we are familiar with your work.

Audition Dates: Wednesday 30 April – Friday 2 May 2025

Expression of Interest Deadline:

• 5 pm Thursday 10 April 2025

• All applicants will be notified by Monday 14 April 2025

Eligibility:

• Tertiary trained, having studied drama/acting

• Must have professional stage experience

• At least 20 years of age

• Must primarily work and live in Queensland (Southeast Queensland and Brisbane-based applicants will be given preference)

Preparation Required (if successful): Two contrasting audition pieces, no longer than 2 minutes each, that showcase your range and talent.
