Title: One Act Plays

Presented By: Mousetrap Theatre Company Inc.

Genre: Comedy / Classical Theatre

Synopsis:

Mousetrap Theatre presents a season of one-act plays featuring two contrasting works.

  • “Still Here Love” Written and directed by Dee Heath.

Synopsis Still Here Love is a play about a group of female friends meeting up for coffee, their adventures on the way and their shared experiences of aging in a society obsessed with female youth and beauty. The play examines the weight of societal expectations on women and the shifting mindsets of women of a ‘certain age’. This original script is comedic, dramatic at times and heartfelt. We are seeking strong character actors who can embody a range of emotions and would like to be part of something different and original at this year’s One Act Festival.

  • “Rambles On Radio” Written by Robert Scott Directed by Chris Packman.

Synopsis Christopher Rambles is delighted to be performing his play on the radio with his daughter in a starring role, but others are less content with the casting. Worse still, there’s more drama behind the microphone than is going out over the air.
