Synopsis: Terry Pratchett’s Wyrd Sisters takes Shakespeare’s Macbeth, adds a splash of Hamlet, a twist of political intrigue, and serves it all up with the signature wit of Discworld. When a wicked Duke murders the King of Lancre, three witches — Granny Weatherwax, Nanny Ogg, and Magrat Garlick — set out to put things right. But restoring the rightful heir to the throne isn’t easy when magic, theatre, and politics collide in a hilariously chaotic adventure.

Audition Location and Address: The Maleny Playhouse, Maleny Showgrounds, Maleny QLD

Audition Requirements:

• Play reading format — participants will read from the script to explore the story and discover casting possibilities.

• 35 characters to be cast, with many opportunities for comic cameos.

• ALL roles are open

• No preparation required — just bring your enthusiasm.

• Crew and production team positions also open.
