Title: You Can’t Tell Anyone

Genre: Philosophical Thriller


Synopsis: Written by Canberra-based artist Joanna Richards, You Can’t Tell Anyone is a philosophical thriller examining how teenagers survive the loss of meaning, structure and identity that comes with the end of adolescence. The work explores identity, uncertainty and the destabilising transition into adulthood.


Audition Application Due: February 28th, 2026

Audition Dates (by invitation): March 2nd - 4th, 2026

Audition Time: Times allocated upon selection

Audition Location and Address: To be provided to selected applicants


Audition Requirements:

  • Prepare a 2–3 minute monologue that showcases your skills or something you are personally drawn to.

  • Be prepared to take direction in the room.

  • You may be asked to perform a cold read from the script.

Audition Registration: Application required prior to audition. Complete Registration form HERE. Selected applicants will be contacted shortly after applications close on Saturday 28 February 2026 with an audition time.


Performance Dates: April 10th - 12th, 2026

Performance Times: TBC

Performance Location: TBC


Rehearsal Dates: Beginning early March 2026

Rehearsal Times: TBC (adequate availability required throughout rehearsal period)


Warnings: Themes relating to adolescence, identity loss, and existential distress.
