JUNIOR AUDITION NOTICE: Frozen JR - Brisbane Junior Theatre

Genre: Youth Musical Theatre / Family Musical


Synopsis: Journey to the magical land of Arendelle in this stage adaptation of Disney’s beloved story of courage, self-discovery and sisterhood. Featuring unforgettable songs and heartwarming characters, Frozen JR. celebrates the powerful bond of love and acceptance between sisters Anna and Elsa.


Audition Date: Saturday March 21st, 2026

Audition Time: 1PM - 4PM

Audition Location and Address: Emerge Church, 1 Coorparoo Road, Warner, QLD 4500


Audition Requirements:

  • Memorise a monologue with characterisation and any required accents (younger children may use a short sentence).

  • Learn the audition song linked in the monologue pack and be prepared to dance (choreography taught on the day).

  • Everyone who auditions is guaranteed a part, and BJT double casts performances.

  • Performers must be registered and pay the production fee on audition day.

  • Saturday April 11th, 2026 - 12PM & 2PM

Rehearsal Times: 8:30AM - 5PM Daily

Rehearsal Location: Emerge Church, 1 Coorparoo Road, Warner, QLD 4500


Warnings:

  • Participants must register and pay fees to audition (no audition without payment).

  • Singing, dancing, and monologue required (levels adjusted for age).

Performer Age: School-aged children & teens (BJT typically includes all youth up to senior school years).


Other information:

  • Production fee: $425 (covers costumes, rights, scripts, insurance, creative staff, sets/props, venue hire, plus a Friday pizza dinner).

  • Every auditioning performer receives a role; double casting for some parts.
