Synopsis: Once upon a time, a curious wooden boy set out to become something more, someone more. In this new Musical adaptation of a classic story, Pinocchio journey isn’t just through cobblestone streets - it’s through a world of grunge, groove, and growing up.

BeXD's Pinocchio the Disco Funk Musical reimagines a classic tale with a high-energy soundtrack, larger-than-life characters, and a whole lot of heart. This is a story about courage, creativity, and what it really means to be real.

Pinocchio is part of BeXD's Musical in a Week Holiday prorgram, This isn’t just a holiday activity - it’s six extraordinary days of connection, creativity, and confidence-building coming together to bring a full musical to life.

Audition Self-Tape Due:  Sunday 4 January, 2026

Audition Requirements:  

• Ages 6 - 16 years (all experience levels welcome)

• To submit a self-tape, you must be registered for the BeXD Holiday workshop

• BeXD is an educational organisation and we will not cast the same student in the lead role every time. Even the most experienced students are in ensemble sometimes and brand new students can get cast as leads. We balance putting on a high quality show with making sure everyone has equal opportunity to learn and shine.
