Synopsis: Elle Woods appears to have it all until her boyfriend, Warner, ends their relationship so he can attend Harvard Law School and find someone more “serious.” Determined to win him back, Elle charms her way into Harvard, where she faces dismissive classmates, demanding professors and assumptions about who she is capable of becoming. With support from unexpected new friends, Elle begins to realise that she does not need to change herself to earn respect or success. Packed with pop-infused songs, energetic choreography and comedy, Legally Blonde The Musical follows Elle’s transformation as she challenges stereotypes, discovers her own abilities and learns to pursue her dreams on her own terms.

Audition Time: Auditions: 10:00am–3:00pm

Callbacks: 3:30pm–7:30pm

Auditionees will be allocated a 90-minute group session. Not all auditionees will be required at callbacks.

Audition Location and Address: ROCKIT Launchpad Studios, 36 Old Cleveland Road, Capalaba QLD 4157

Audition Requirements: Auditions will be conducted in small workshop-style groups and will assess singing, acting, dancing and suitability for available roles.

Participation in one weekly technical dance class is also a prerequisite for joining the Senior Program. This may be a streamed ballet or jazz class, or an adult introductory ballet or jazz class.

Performer Age: Students in Grades 10–12

• This production forms part of ROCKIT’s Elite Senior Musical Theatre Program.

• The program runs across two school terms.

• A costume-hire fee of $42 per term applies, totalling $84.

• Students may also need to provide basic costume items, undergarments and footwear.
