Title: Around the World in 80 Days

Presented by: Tugun Theatre Company

About: This production embraces a “giant drama game” style of storytelling, reminiscent of 10 Seconds to Make, where everyday objects transform into trains, boats, elephants, and entire worlds. Cast members will perform, create live sound effects, manipulate props, and shift characters constantly, with eight actors bringing over 125 roles to life. Join Phileas Fogg and his devoted valet Passepartout as they race around the globe from Victorian London to the Indian subcontinent and beyond. The show celebrates imagination, physical storytelling, and ensemble collaboration, using inventive props, costumes, and live sound effects to complete each illusion.
