Synopsis:
It’s the first day after winter break at East High. The Jocks, Brainiacs, Thespians, and Skater Dudes find their cliques, recount their vacations, and look forward to the new year. Basketball team captain and resident jock, Troy, discovers that Gabriella, a girl he met singing karaoke on his ski trip, has just enrolled at East High. When they decide to audition for the school musical, they shake up the status quo and inspire their classmates to embrace new possibilities.
Disney’s High School Musical is bursting with unforgettable songs, show-stopping choreography, and a cast of exceptional local talent. Sing along to fan favourites, including We’re All in This Together, Breaking Free, and Stick to the Status Quo, accompanied by a live band.

Round one of the audition process requires submitting a self-tape.
Your submission must include ONE EDITED-TOGETHER VIDEO featuring:

Availability (List any conflicts or state you have no clashes with the schedule)

Gabriella Montez – A bright and charming newcomer at East High. (F3–E5)
Sharpay Evans – The self-absorbed queen of the drama club. (A3–F5) Strong dancer
Ryan Evans – Sharpay’s charismatic twin brother, a strong dancer. (B3–B5) Strong dancer
Chad Danforth – Troy’s best friend and loyal teammate. (A3–B5)
Taylor McKessie – Head of the Brainiacs, intelligent and assertive. (G3–C5)
Kelsi Nielsen – The school’s shy but passionate composer. (A3–D5) Bonus: piano skills
Zeke Baylor – A basketball player with a hidden passion for baking. (B3–G5)
Martha Cox – A fun-loving Brainiac who secretly loves to dance. (B3–C5) Strong dancer
Jack Scott – The school’s radio announcer, shy in person but confident on air. (B3–G5)
Ms. Darbus – The eccentric, theatre-loving drama teacher.
Coach Bolton – Troy’s strict yet well-meaning father and basketball coach.
Ensemble: Ensemble members will portray multiple characters, including students, teachers, and parents, and must be strong singers, dancers, and actors. Featured ensemble roles are also available. All vocal types encouraged to apply.

Warnings:
This production includes theatrical haze, strobe lighting effects, loud music, and pyrotechnics.
High School Musical runs for approximately 2.5 hours, including a 20-minute interval.
Required Age: 18+ (Applicants must be over 18 and have access to transport.)
